IAC GIRLS BASKETBALL: CANDOR RECEIVES 2 DIVISION ALL-STAR PICKS (2020-02-23)

CANDOR — Candor's Braelyn Hornick and Jennah Kareem have been named to IAC South Small School all-star teams.

Hornick, a junior, was selected to the first team. She led the Indians in scoring at 13 points per game and in rebounding with 13.3 boards per game. Hornick posted 10 double-doubles in 19 games. She also paced the team with 58 steals and 30 assists.

Kareem, a senior, was chosen on the second team. She averaged 12.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, and also had five double-doubles and 53 steals.

All-stars are selected by a vote of the coaches in each division.

Candor (8-11) has qualified for the Section IV Class C playoffs and is seeded 15th.
