GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING: OWEGO YOUTH QUALIFIES FOR AAU NATIONALS (2020-02-17)

GENESEO, N.Y. — Kaelyn Katchuk competed in the annual AAU Valentines Diving Invitational Sunday at SUNY Geneseo.

Entered in the 12-13 age group division, the Owego youth took first place in the 1-meter dive, besting the AAU national qualifying score of 205 with a 241.05.

She was third in the 3 meter dive, besting the AAU qualifying score of 210 with a 244.15.

Forty-two divers participated in age group events.

The AAU National Diving Championships will be held July 14-24 in San Antonio, Texas.

Katchuk competed for the Owego varsity girls swimming and diving team this past fall.
