OWEGO — Brandon Lavo and Adam Gault won two individual events apiece, and teamed up with Joe Criscitello and Gabe Snyder to take a pair of relays as Owego won its STAC season finale, 92-69, over Norwich here Monday.
Lavo posted the Indians' first victory of the evening, taking the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:03.6.
Gault would win the next event, the 200 individual medley, in 2:23.03. That would give Owego a 22-21 edge and the Indians would never trail again.
Lavo's second win came in the 100 butterfly where he reached the wall in 1:05.08.
The next Owego win came in the 200 free relay where Gault, Criscitello, Snyder and Lavo posted a time of 1:46.61.
Gault picked up his second triumph in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:14.33.
The Indians closed out the meet with a victory in the 400 free relay as Lavo, Snyder, Criscitello and Gault logged a time of 4:03.77.
Runners-up for Owego were Criscitello in the 50 free and 500 free, Snyder in the 100 free, Tyler Krom in the 100 backstroke, and the 200 medley relay of Jacob Krassin, Kyle Riegel, Dominick Mahonski and Krom.
Placing third for the Indians were Krassin in the 200 IM, Mahonski in the 50 free and 100 fly, Cayden Antalek in the 100 back, Austin Tompkins in the 100 breast, the 200 free relay of Riegel, Tompkins, Christian Hodges and Mahonski, and the 400 free relay of Antalek, Hodges, Krom and Krassin.
Owego will host the Section IV Class B preliminaries Feb. 19.
