IAC WRESTLING: TIOGA COUNTY GRAPPLERS SHOULD FARE WELL AT LEAGUE TOURNAMENT (2020-01-17)

WAVERLY — Tioga is looking to return to the top of the IAC when the league championships get underway here Saturday.
The 2018 champions did not get a chance to defend their title last year due to a one-week weather postponement which created a conflict with the state dual meet championships. Waverly would win the team title.
Barring several major upsets, the Tigers should run away with this year's event as they could crown as many as seven weight class champs.
Tioga County should fare well overall as Newark Valley has a handful of contenders while SVEC and Waverly have potential title winners as well.
Wrestling begins at 10 a.m.
