TIOGA COUNTY — The are four events on today's schedule, including a pair of basketball games which were moved up a day due to the threat of impending bad weather.

BOWLING
Odessa-Montour at Candor, 4 p.m.: The Candor teams lead O-M in the IAC Division 2 standings. The girls are in second and the boys are in third while the O-M squads are third and fourth, respectively.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Whitney Point (5-4) at Newark Valley (2-7), 7 p.m.: The Cardinals lost to Marathon, 61-32, last time out while the Point fell to Newfield, 65-40.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Newark Valley (12-0) at Whitney Point, 7 p.m.: The unbeaten Cardinals canned 10 3-pointers in a 75-26 victory over Whitney Point in the Harpursville Christmas Tournament championship game. NV is ranked 14th in the state in Class B. The Golden Eagles fell to Newfield, 62-44, in their most recent game.

Owego (4-6) at Corning (3-7), 7:15 p.m.: The Indians are coming off a 65-44 non-league win over Union Springs while the Hawks lost to Horseheads, 68-51, recently.
