MARATHON — Kaitlyn Floyd just kept getting better as the match went on to lead the Candor girls to a 4-0 victory over Marathon here Tuesday. The Indians won the boys match by a 4-0 score as well.

GIRLS
Floyd opened with a 149, followed with a 172 and closed with a 244, giving her a 565 series.

Mya Marsh contributed a 190-531 and Olivia Bennett registered a 189-476. Alexis Quick added a 137 game and Jenna O'Connell tacked on a 130.

Candor won by scores of 702-373, 702-422 and 804-350, and took the total pinfall, 2208-1145.

Marathon fielded just three bowlers and was led by Sezja Brooks with a 168-474.

BOYS
Kody Floyd paced the Candor effort with a 188-514.

Garrett Lindhorst posted a 177-468, Matt Fitch rolled a 156-441 and Carson Howe had a 161-403. Tyler Dunham added a 117 game.

The Indians won, 712-415, 707-534 and 629-447 and won the total pinfall, 2108-1396.

Candor hosts Odessa-Montour Thursday.
