TIOGA COUNTY — There are nine events on the schedule today, including six basketball games.

BOWLING
Dryden at Candor, 4 p.m.: The Indians are coming off a sweep of Edison.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Candor (5-4) at Moravia (5-4), 7 p.m.: Candor is coming off a 62-55 loss to Marathon and should face another solid IAC North Small School foe in the Blue Devils. Moravia routed Tioga last time out, 78-42.

Newark Valley (1-6) at Dryden (0-9), 7 p.m.: The Cardinals haven't won since the season opener while the Purple Lions are still seeking their first victory.

S-VE (4-5) at Union Springs (5-4), 7 p.m.: The Panthers will try to rebound from a 64-51 loss to Southern Cayuga while the Wolves topped Odessa-Montour, 68-51.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Moravia at Candor (2-7), 7:15 p.m.: The Indians played Marathon close until the second half in a 61-46 loss Tuesday.

Owego (3-5) at M-E (6-0), 6:45 p.m.: The Indians held off Vestal, 40-37, in their last outing and will have a formidable foe in M-E, ranked sixth in the state in Class A.

Union Springs at S-VE (1-7), 7:30 p.m.: The Panthers dropped a 38-36 heartbreaker to Southern Cayuga Tuesday.

BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING
M-E (3-0) at Owego (0-3), 5:30 p.m.: The Indians haven't competed in three weeks while the Spartans already have a dual meet and invitational under their belts in 2020.

WRESTLING
Eastern States Classic at Sullivan County Community College: Josh Post will represent Newark Valley at the 19th edition of what has been tabbed the most competitive tournament in New York state. The senior is 20-2 and seeded 23rd. He will face Indian River standout Logan Patterson (23-0), the 10th seed, in his first bout.
