STAC BOWLING: OWEGO BOYS WIN SECOND STRAIGHT MATCH (2020-01-07)

VESTAL — Nathan Travis set the pace with a 645 series as the Owego boys won their second consecutive STAC match at Midway Lanes Tuesday, defeating Vestal, 4-1.
The Golden Bears would win the girls match, 5-0.
BOYS
Travis missed a 200 by one pin in the opening game, but came back strong with a 212 and 234.
Cole Dalton, who led the team in Monday's win, rolled a 226-576 and Qwinten Adams scored a 209-560.
Tyler Taft had a 188-540, William Waldron added a 213 game and Levi Stanton had a 131.
Josh Hall paced Vestal with a 257-663, Raiden Skojec had a 217-620 and Gage Wilson added a 217-584.
The Indians won the total pinfall, 2802-2796. They won the first game, 907-903, and the second, 1024-902. The Bears avoided a shutout by taking game three, 991-871.
GIRLS
Vestal won by scores of 757-451, 767-501 and 739-470 to take the total pinfall, 2263-1422.
Cyanne Skojec led the Bears with a 211-574.
Elizabeth Reigle paced Owego with a 116-318 and Victoria Kobylarz had a 108-301. Lillie Carrigan-Bauer added a107 game, Chloe Gillette had a 102 and Gabby Dunham had a 100.
Owego hosts Vestal today.
