COLLEGE FOOTBALL: OWEGO GRAD GLADNEY RAKES IN MORE HONORS (2019-02-02)

ITHACA — Ithaca College wide receiver Will Gladney has earned more accolades following an exceptional senior season with the Bombers.

D3football.com announced its All-America teams prior to the start of the Stagg Bowl (Division III championship) Dec. 20 and Gladney received an honorable mention.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its NCAA Division III postseason awards on Dec. 18 and six players from Ithaca College were honored. Gladney was one of five Bombers picked on the first team.

On Dec. 10, Gladney received his third D3football.com East Region all-region selection during his storied career at Ithaca, and is now a two-time first team honoree.

Gladney had previously been named an American Football Coaches Association Second-Team All-American on Dec. 4.

Prior to the start of the season, Gladney was selected to the FreeAgentFootball.com 2019 Division III Preseason All-American first-team and the Lindy's Sports Preseason All-America Second-Team.

Ithaca finished the season with an 8-3 record for the third straight season. The Bombers were ranked as high as No. 7 in the country and boasted one of the top offenses in Division III.

Gladney set single season records in yards (1,161) and touchdowns (16). His 85 receptions this fall are second all-time. On three different occasions this season, he hauled in three touchdowns to match a single game record.

During his four seasons at Ithaca, Gladney set program records for receptions (258), yards (3,574) and touchdowns (38).
