WINDSOR — Owego's unbeaten Tyler Benjamin and Tioga's undefeated Gianni Silvestri will lead Tioga County wrestlers into the 63rd Annual Windsor Christmas Tournament here Friday and Saturday.

Benjamin has posted a 17-0 record at 195 and 220 pounds, but will compete at 182. He is seeded third behind Susquehanna Valley's Mitchell Knapp, who is 11-0 and a returning state place-winner, and Mt. Sinai's Joe Goodrich (19-0).

Silvestri (12-0) is the No. 2 seed behind Mt. Sinai's Brayden Fahrbach (19-0) at 99. Silvestri is ranked No. 1 in the state in Division II by the New York Wrestling News while Fahrbach is ranked No. 2.

Both Owego and Tioga will be competing without their full lineups. Also competing are SVEC and Waverly.

Other Tioga County wrestlers to watch include Owego's Cam Bundy (16-1), the third seed at 170, and Matt Laubach (15-3), seeded fifth at 106, and Jacob Morris, the No. 5 seed at 132; SVEC's Parker Sexton (3-1), seeded fifth at 145 and returning from an injury; Tioga's Emmett Wood (8-3), seeded second at 152, and Caden Bellis (12-0), the fourth seed at 106; and Waverly's Ethan Stotler (14-1), the third seed at 160.
