COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY: S-VE GRAD PIERCE EARNS ALL-LEAGUE HONOR (2019-11-13)

GENEVA, N.Y. — William Smith College midfielder Kelsey Pierce wrapped up her collegiate career by being named to the All-Liberty League second team.

The senior from S-VE finished fourth on the team with five points on two goals and one assist. Pierce was also named to the league's all-academic team.  

Pierce appeared in 56 games in her career, starting 50, and has received numerous honors. They include Hai Timiai and Laurel Society (honor societies), the Madeline Buckley Award (given annually to a student-athlete who best displays character, teamwork and citizenship), Beverly Singer Field Hockey Coach's Award (presented to a member of the field hockey team for work ethic, leadership, community service, and scholarship), NFHCA National Academic Squad (multiple times), Liberty League All-Academic, William Ross Proctor Prize for Mathematics and NFHCA Scholar of Distinction.
