Corning Community College freshman Brittany Sanguinito placed second overall at the Mid-State Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championship Oct. 19 to lead the Red Barons to the team championship. She ran a 5K time of 23:58.11.

The Owego grad would place fifth at the NJCAA Region III Women's Cross Country Championship Oct. 26 with a 5K time of 23:11.56.

On. Nov 2, Sanguinito finished 28th at the NJCAA Division III National Championship, clocking 22:14.11 on the 5K course.
