COLLEGE BASKETBALL: OWEGO GRAD PARADIES SHINES IN EARLY SEASON PLAY (2019-11-11)

SYRACUSE— Owego grad Cole Paradies recorded doube-doubles in two of SUNY-ESF's first three games this season.

The junior forward had 21 points and 12 rebounds in a 102-79 loss to Villa Maria in the championship game of the USCAA Challenge. VM finished third in the USCAA National Championship tournament last season. He had 12 points and eight rebounds in the first round, a 62-54 win over host Paul Smith.

His other double-double included 25 points and 13 boards in a 92-90 victory over Penn State Scranton last Tuesday.
