STAC VOLLEYBALL: OWEGO SWEEPS AWAY M-E (2019-10-15)

OWEGO — Since dropping the first set in a 3-1 win over M-E almost a month ago, Owego has won 21 sets in a row in STAC matches. The last three came Tuesday evening when the Indians swept M-E.

The 25-18 and a pair of 25-17 verdicts, pushed Owego's win streak to 11 straight matches. The Indians are now 11-1 on the season.

Mackenzie Struble registered 17 assists, seven kills, five digs and three aces; Camryn Kopalek eight assists, five digs and three kills; and Sara Zepkowski contributed seven kills, six aces, three blocks and three digs.

Annika Kinney contributed 17 digs, four assists and one ace; Taylor Aubel had six kills, two digs and a block; Mia Puglisi pitched in with five kills and a dig; and Emma Howe had 10 digs, six kills and two aces.

Bianca DeVita contributed six digs and two aces; Harlea Russell had three digs; Haleigh Whatley had three kills and Maddy Powell added an ace.

Owego hosts Ithaca (3-8) Thursday.
