JOHNSON CITY — Owego won its eighth consecutive match Thursday, sweeping Johnson City, 3-0, on the road.
The Indians rolled to wins of 25-10, 25-10 and 25-9, giving them 24 victories in the past 25 sets.
Owego head coach Brittney Race said it was the first match the Indians have played ina long time in which they were consistent from start to finish.
"We played really well," she said.
Mackenzie Struble recorded nine assists, seven kills, five aces and two digs; and Camryn Kopalek had eight assists, six digs, four kills and two aces as Owego improved to 8-1 on the season.
Sara Zepkowski had five kills and a dig; Annika Kinney contributed 12 digs and an assist; Taylor Aubel had three kills; and Mia Puglisi had one kill.
Emma Howe registered 11 digs, four aces and three kills; Bianca DeVita had two assists and a dig; Macey Gibson chipped in with four digs and two aces; Haleigh Whatley added three kills.
Owego hosts U-E Tuesday.
