OWEGO — Sidney kept its turnaround season going strong Saturday with a 7-1 victory over Owego.

The Warriors (6-2), who won just seven games all last season, received a hat trick from Tiana Savino and two more from Kaitlyn Bookhout. 

Faith Wheeler and Kayla McEwen added one goal apiece. Sarah Bessett and Haley Larson contributed one assist each.

Lauren Gilbert scored Owego's goal off a penalty corner.

Sidney took 18 shots to the Indians' one and held a 7-1 advantage in corners.

Sarah Haskell made 11 saves in goal for Owego and the Warriors' Makayla Phillips had zero.

Owego (1-8) visits Newark Valley (4-1) Tuesday.
