Owego (0-1) at Norwich (1-0), 7 p.m.: The Purple Tornado has a dangerous QB, but a porous defense. The Indians were stunned by Chenango Forks' powerful offensive line.
Sus Valley (1-0) at SVEC (0-1), 7 p.m. The Eagles attempted to rally, but came up short against Sidney. The defending state champion Sabers aren't ready to surrender their crown.
BOYS SOCCERNewark Valley at GLM Tournament, 4:30 p.m.: The Cardinals head to Watkins Glen for a weekend tourney.
Newfield at SVEC, 4:30 p.m.: The Eagles are coming off a lopsided win over Elmira Notre Dame.
Owego at M-E, 7 p.m.: The Indians try to snap back from a loss to Vestal.
