MORAVIA — Owego sat idle for eight days, then had to play extra minutes when it returned to the field Saturday.
The Indians took on defending Section IV Division 3 champion Moravia, dropping a 1-0 overtime decision.
The Blue Devils controlled play on the offensive end, outshooting their guests, 10-1. They also held an 11-6 advantage in penalty corners.
Sarah Haskell made nine saves in goal for the Indians while Moravia's keeper had one.
Owego (1-1) hosts Walton at 7 p.m. Monday.
