NEWFIELD — Candor continued its dominant ways Thursday, rolling to a 3-0 IAC South Small School victory over Newfield.

The Indians won the first set, 25-11, then took the next two by 25-9 verdicts. In six sets, Candor has surrendered just 54 points.

Shelby Swartz served up 14 points, including eight aces, and also had three kills and a dig. Braelyn Hornick handed out 15 assists and had four aces while Jennah Kareem cranked out nine kills.

Megan Henry served 12 points and had a dig, Teagan Bartlow had four aces, Selah Ray added three kills and Brayden Watkins chipped in with a dig.

JV: Candor won by scores of 25-9 and 25-13.

On Monday, Candor (2-0) hosts Edison (1-1), which dropped a four-set thriller to Tioga.
