YOUTH BASEBALL: OWEGO (BEYER) FALLS TO SUSQUEHANNA AT U-E 12U TOURNAMENT (2019-07-23)
Tioga County Sports ReportENDICOTT — Owego (Beyer) scored the initial run, but was unable to capitalize on it in a 12-1, five-inning loss to Susquehanna at the U-E 12U Tournament Wednesday.
Sam Sherwood singled and scored Owego's lone run in the top of the first.
Parker Jenkins also reached base safely in the first, on an error.
Jamie Harrison would have Owego's other hits, rapping out singles in the second and fifth innings.
Adam Llewellyn was Owego's only other base runner, reaching on an error in the fourth.
Susquehanna plated four runs in its half of the first, then followed with back-to-back three-run innings to build a 10-1 cushion.
