Lindy's Sports has selected Ithaca College senior wide receiver
Will Gladney to its preseason All-America Second-Team.
The Owego grad registered 68 receptions for 870 yards and nine touchdowns last year despite missing two games as the Bombers went 8-3 overall and 4-1 in the Liberty League.
A D3football.com preseason All-American, he would be selected Liberty League Offensive Player of the Year and first-team all-conference, and was also named Second-Team All-East Region by D3football.com.
In the final game of the season against Utica, Gladney pulled down 14 receptions for 236 yards and three touchdowns, all career bests.
In 2018, he set Ithaca career records for receptions, yards and touchdowns last season and enters his final year on South Hill with 173 catches, 2,413 yards and 22 touchdowns to his credit. He ranks first all-time at IC in receptions and yards,and is tied for the top spot in TD receptions with George
The Bombers are ranked 15th in Street & Smith's Division III Preseason Top 20 poll.
IC opens the season Sept. 7 at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
This year's Cortaca Jug game against SUNY Cortland will be played Nov. 16 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It marks the 61st meeting between the rivals.
