IAC TRACK & FIELD: NEWARK VALLEY, S-VE COMPETE AT FUTURE STARS INVITE (2019-05-21)

TRUMANSBURG, N.Y. — Newark Valley’s recorded two individual wins and a relay victory while S-VE won one individual events and one relay at the 2019 Future Stars Invitational here Tuesday.

Following are the top five finishers for both schools.

BOYS
Newark Valley

Raidyn Ford captured top honors in the 400 (57.1).

Mark Vosburgh was the runner-up in the 1600 (5:15.2).

Josh Duke finished second in the shot put (32-9 1/2) and third in the discus (87-9).

The 4x800 relay of Patrick Bishop, John Boldis, Aiden Cabrera and Seth Hartenstein took second (9:35.2).

Derrick Kalpokas was third in the triple jump (35-9 1/2) and third in the high jump (no height listed).

Landon Spoonhower finished third in the pole vault (9-0).

John Simmons took third in the 110 hurdles (19.9).

The 4x100 relay of Duke, Ford, David Mincher and Cameron Carrier placed third (50.2).

Boldis took fourth in the 400 (58.4).

Cabrera placed fourth in the 800 (2:15.43).

Levi Arnold took fourth in the shot put (30-7) and fifth in the discus (84-6 1/2)..

Carrier was fifth in the 100 (12.3).

Aden Hollenbeck took fifth in the pole vault (8-6).

Tim Bishop placed fifth in the long jump (16-6 1/4).

S-VE
Elliot Walter won the discus (99-10) and took fifth in the shot put (30-6).

The 4x800 relay of Tyler Doster, Kenny Collister, Tyler Stahl and Calum Avery placed first (9:26.1).

Avery finished second in the 800 (2:19.4).

Morgan Myers was second in the long jump (17-2), fourth in the 200 (25.6) and fifth in the 100 (12.5).

Stahl took third in the 400 hurdles (1:11.2).

The 4x400 relay placed third (4:11.3).

Connor Wallenbeck finished fifth in the triple jump (32-8 3/4).

GIRLS
Newark Valley

Renee Riegel won the 1500 (5:45.5) and took fifth in the 800 (2:50.7).

The 4x100 relay of Maris Aylesworth, Leah Williams, Jadyn Vanzile and Kathryn Simmons took first (54.5).

Victoria Geisenhof was the runner-up in the shot put (25-10) and the discus (69-11).

Molly McCloskey was second in the 1500 (5:52.5).

Aylesworth placed third in the 200 (28.6) and fifth in the 100 (13.3).

Kylee Carrier took third in the discus (67-5).

Aylesworth, McCloskey, Williams and Emma Miller finished third in the 4x400 relay (4:55.2).

Rosie Hines took fourth in the 400 hurdles (1:35.1) and fifth in the 1500 (6:44.3).

Williams was fourth in the high jump (4-4).

Charlotte Dunn placed fourth in the pole vault (7-6).

S-VE
Lauren Slofkosky placed third in the shot put (23-4).

Bella Young was fourth in the discus (67-4).

Andrea Douglas finished fifth in the 400 (1:08.7).

Cay Terrio took fifth in the 200 (29.0).
