IAC TRACK & FIELD: CANDOR'S JENSEN ADDS ANOTHER VICTORY AT LEAGUE MEET (9 PHOTOS) (2019-05-17)
Tioga County Sports ReportTRUMANSBURG, N.Y. — Lance Jensen ran away from the competition to easily win the overall and Small School 400 hurdles titles on the second day of the IAC Track & Field Championships here Friday.
The Candor standout posted a time of 56.23 seconds, more than three seconds faster than his nearest challenger.
Ty Benners placed second in the 200 with a time of 24.83 seconds.
The 4x100 relay of Benners, Nash Whitmore, Joao Bessa and Christian Haynes placed third with a time of 47.7 seconds.
Caleb Vaow took fifth in the 800 in 2:11.78.
In the girls meet, Leah O'Connell finished third in the 800 in 2:32.04.
Jenna O'Connell took fifth in the 3,000, clocking 12:48.17.
The 4x400 relay of Leah and Jenna O’Connell, Mya Marsh and Erin Bruttomesso placed fifth with a time of 4:45.65.
The 4x100 relay of Rebecca Holmes, Alexis Kane, Sydney Brown and Marsh took sixth in 58.34 seconds.
