CORNING — Candor’s Lance Jensen was a triple winner at the Fast Times Invitational here Friday.
The junior standout won the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of 11.51 and 23.05 seconds, respectively. His other victory came in the 400 hurdles, where he clocked a time of 56.73 seconds. Jensen easily beat his seed times in each event. He was also a third-place finisher in the 110 hurdles in 16.98 seconds.
Newark Valley had two top-three showings in the boys relay events. The 4x100 relay of Raidyn Ford, Davis Morais, Micah Williams and Dan Cowulich was the runner-up with a time of 46.27 seconds while the 4x800 was third in 9:29.0, chopping more than 22 seconds off its seed time.
The Owego boys came away with one top-three effort as Nate Bowers raced to third in the 1600, recording a time of 4:25.36.

Next up are the league championships. Owego competes in the STAC championships Thursday at Johnson City. Candor and Newark Valley head to the IAC championships Thursday and Friday at Trumansburg.
