TRUMANSBURG — A dozen different players contributed at the plate as S-VE rolled past Trumansburg, 29-9, in a six-innings IAC Division 2 romp here Thursday.

Madison Sousa went 3-for-5 with two runs and five RBI; Hannah Harmon was 3-for-6 with two runs and three RBI; Abbie Kellogg was 4-for-6 with a double and five runs; Shannon Connor went 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBI; and McKenzie Jones was 2-for-4 with five runs and three RBI as the Panthers pounded out 19 hits and drove in 22 runs.

Also contributing at the plate were Rhianna Lawrence with a hit, two runs and two RBI; Gillian Jackman with a triple, two runs and an RBI; Tara Perkins with a hit three runs and two RBI; Sam Depp with a hit, a run and two RBI; Korah Russell with two runs and two RBI; and Daisy Valley and Leah Watkins with a run apiece.

In addition, five T-burg pitchers issued 17 walks, including four to Russell, three to Jones, and two apiece to four other players.  S-VE batters struck out just three times.

Lawrence earned the win, striking out eight , walking two and surrendering 11 hits. Six of the Blue raiders’ runs were earned.

S-VE scored seven runs in the first, and when the Panthers scored seven more in the fourth, they would build an 18-2 cushion.

Trailing, 20-2, T-burg would push seven runs across in the fifth, but the Panthers (9-7) countered with a nine-run sixth.
