BINGHAMTON - Newark Valley grad Quartus Steika surpassed the 250-point mark in Broome Community College's 96-76 loss to Corning Community College recently.

He had 21 points, eight rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal in a 96-76 loss to Corning Community College Feb. 13. He also had 10 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, an assist and a steal in a 96-54 loss to Jefferson Community College on Feb. 19.

Steika, a freshman forward, finished the season with 274 points in 24 games.

The Hornets ended their season with a 2-23 record.
