SECTION IV INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: CANDOR’S AMAN WINS 55 DASH, QUALIFIES FOR STATES (February 21, 2026)

ITHACA — Candor sprinter Logan Aman captured first-place honors at the Section IV Division II Indoor Track & Field State Qualifier held at Ithaca College’s Glazer Arena Friday.

Aman recorded a time of 6.49 seconds, not only winning the D-2 title, but besting the fastest sprinters in Division I as well.

This marked the third time this season he has eclipsed the 6 ½-second mark. He had run a 6.43 and 6.46 during the regular season.

The Coyotes’ Linsey Morse missed the finals in the 55-meter hurdles by one spot. She placed ninth in the preliminaries with a time of 9.97 seconds.

The state championships will be held March 8 on Staten Island.
