SECTION IV GIRLS BASKETBALL: NEWARK VALLEY DRAWS FOURTH SEED IN CLASS B (February 20, 2026)

NEWARK VALLEY — Newark Valley has been seeded fourth for the Section IV Class B Girls Basketball Championships. The Cardinals (15-4) will host fifth-seeded Walton/Downsville (15-5) at 6 p.m. on Feb. 27.

The winner heads to Conklin to face top-seeded Susquehanna Valley on March 3 in a 6 p.m. semifinal.

The championship game will be held March 8 at 10 a.m. at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton.

Section IV has five teams recognized in the Class B state poll. Sus Valley is No. 2, Chenango Forks in No. 9, Watkins Glen is 17th, the Cardinals are 22nd and Walton/Downsville is an honorable mention.
