IAC BOWLING: NEWARK VALLEY TAKES 7 POINTS FROM LANSING (February 13, 2026)

LANSING — The Newark Valley bowling teams took seven of eight points from Lansing on the road Tuesday, the girls winning, 4-0, and the boys by a 3-1 score.

GIRLS
NV 4, Lansing 0
The Cardinals’ Rachel Hartman rolled an impressive 606 series which included games of 210 and 211.

Brook Illsley shot a 167-469 and Abigal Dufresne had a 153-450. Maeanna Jackson contributed a 173-399, Stormi Wiley added a 135-346 and Abigail DeBolt had a 120-313.

NV won by scores of 804-626, 747-497 and 744-625, and grabbed the total pinfall, 2295-1748.

Sienna Wright led the Bobcats with a 185-409.

BOYS
NV 3, Lansing 1
Devon Green surpassed 200 in all three games with a 217, 225 and 227, giving him a 669 series.

Mason Peck added a 197-530 and William Simmons chipped in with a 198-506. John Sloughter had a 188-477, Reese Illsley scored a 148-413 and Kaleb Jackson had a 144-359.

The Cardinals won the first two games, 904-867 and 850-810, and won the total pinfall, 2617-2554. Lansing salvaged a point in game three, winning, 877-863.

Nathan Armstrong paced the Bobcats with a 236-599 and Matt Binns added a 212 game.

NV competes in the IAC championships Saturday at the Valley Bowling Center in Waverly.
