WATKINS GLEN — The Candor girls bowling team swept an understaffed Watkins Glen team while the Lake Hawks swept an undermanned Coyotes squad in the boys match here Tuesday.
GIRLS
Candor 4, Watkins Glen 0
The Coyotes won by scores of 645-253, 580-342 and 569-281, and took the total pinfall, 1794-876.
Calli Marsh led the charge with a 168-431 and Zoe Travis had a 140-410. Allison Johnston rolled a 127-338, Kyrsten Jackson shot a 123-310 and Teresa Kern added a 110-305.
Callieondra Tonafjian led the Lake Hawks with a 129-358 while Miley Clark had WG’s high game at 139.
BOYS
Watkins Glen 4, Candor 0
The Lake Hawks won by scores of 767-444, 686-433 and 718-412, and took the total pinfall, 2171-1289.
Brett Cullen-Pike led Watkins Glen with a 213-574.
Malcolm Jackson paced Candor with a 185-475, Conner Kellogg recorded a 167-446 and Stanley Winnick tacked on a 129-368.
Next up are the IAC championships on Saturday at the Valley Bowling Center in Waverly.
