OWEGO — Malcolm Jackson was red hot on the Owego Bowl lanes Thursday as the Candor teams swept Union Springs / Port Byron in IAC Small School action.

Jackson rolled a 724 series to lead the Coyotes to a 4-0 win in the boys match while Calli Marsh led the girls to a sweep of the understaffed US/PB squad.

BOYS
Candor 4, US/PB 0
Jackson opened the match with a 247 game, then followed with a 222 and a high of 255.

Stanley Winnick ended his day with a 222 game to finish with a 526 series. Riley Bauer added a 174-466 and Conner Kellogg tacked on a 150-428.

The Coyotes won by scores of 687-561, 691-568 and 766-540, and claimed the total pinfall, 2144-1669.

Kevin Kinnaman led the Wolves with a 181-506.

GIRLS
Candor 4, US/PB 0
The Coyotes won by scores of 736-167, 707-172 and 726-131, and took the total pinfall, 2169-470.

Marsh rolled her best game, a 202, in the middle and posted a 558 series.

Allison Johnston contributed a 164-448 and Zoe Travis shot 161-437.

Kyrsten Jackson added a 136-354, Raina Schneider-Kern had a 129-342 and Teresa Kern tacked on a 120-289.

Stephanie Casbohm led the two-girl US/PB team with a 101-277.

Candor’s Makenna Nixon posted a 121-314 in exhibition.

The Coyotes host Edison on Wednesday.
