TIOGA CENTER — Owego won two of the three contested bouts, but fell to Tioga, 30-19, in Section IV girls wrestling action here Thursday due to forfeits.
The Tigers took five of the six weights in which the winner received a forfeit.
The River Hawks’ Ashlee Crawford-Bauer (114 pounds) pinned Mia Hall in 1:06 and teammate Michaela Daly recorded a 10-0 tech. fall over Grace Howey in 4:11.
Kaylie Cote (94) and Izzy Taylor (165) received forfeits for Owego.
The Tigers’ Amelia Toomey (138) pinned Lauren Kotski in 37 seconds.
Vida Rossi (126), Sophia Haney (132), Cora Szymanski (145), Kyah Nelson (185) and Emily Moniz (235) picked up forfeit wins.
