INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: CANDOR’S MORSE CAPTURES HURDLES BRONZE (January 18, 2026)

ITHACA — Candor’s Lindsey Morse placed third in the 55-meter hurdles at the Hurley Invitational held at Ithaca College Friday.

Morse posted a time of 9.1 seconds to finish near the front of a field of 35 competitors.

She also placed seventh out of 44 in the long jump with a distance of 14-9 ¼.

In the 55-meter dash, Morse took 16th out of 92 sprinters in the preliminaries. That time would have been good for eighth place in the finals.

The Coyotes had one other runner place in the top 20 in an event. Zoey Lang posted a time of 3:38.85 in the 1,000, good for 13th among a field of 52.

In the boys meet, Logan Aman suffered his first defeat in the 55 dash when he fell coming out of the blocks in the prelims.
