STAC BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING: OWEGO’S ALLEN TRIPLE WINNER IN LOSS TO SUS VALLEY (January 18, 2026)

CONKLIN — Magavin Allen won a pair of individual events, and teamed with Vincent Kneller, Eric Schrader and Javan Belokur to win a relay, but Owego fell to Susquehanna Valley, 103-69, in STAC boys swimming and diving here Friday.

The quartet won the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:58.87, edging out Sus Valley by 1.99 seconds.

Allen’s other wins were in the 200 individual medley, where he touched the wall in 2:17.86, more than 16 seconds ahead of his closest competitor, and the 100 backstroke, where he clocked 1:03.61 to win by more than 12 seconds.

Schrader followed with victory in the 200 free, clocking 2:01.49 to win by nearly 10 seconds.

Belokur picked up a win in the 500 free, posting a time of 6:04.79.

The River Hawks’ runners-up were Belokur in the 200 free (2:11.31), Kneller in the 50 free (:30.45), Schrader in the 100 fly (1:00.75), Tobin Reynolds in the 100 breaststroke (1:27.02), and the 200 free relay of Allen, Kneller, Belokur and Schrader (1:48.97).

Placing third for Owego were Stephen Gilmore in the 100 free (:59.96), Padraig Allen in the 100 back (1:18.98), Henry Larsson in the 100 breast (1:29.27) and the 400 free relay of Dom Scherrer, Padraig Allen, Reynolds and Gilmore in 5:01.8.
