HS INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: CANDOR’S AMAN ADDS ANOTHER 55 WIN (January 3, 2026)

ITHACA — Candor’s Logan Aman picked up his fourth 55-meter dash victory of the season at the Quinney Invitational held at Cornell University’s Barton Hall here Saturday.

Aman recorded a time of 6.43 seconds to top a field of 70 competitors. He also placed second among small school sprinters and third overall in the 300, clocking 36.96 seconds.

In the girls meet, Lindsey Morse was the Coyotes’ top performer, placing second in small schools and third overall in the long jump with a distance of 15-10 ¼.

BOYS
Candor had two other top 10 finishes as Charlie Hilbert placed ninth in the long jump with a leap of 17-1 ½ and Rylan Cruz was ninth in the shot put with a heave of 33-10 ¼.

Also placing in the top 20 were Jeremiah Gloss, 14th in the 600 (1:15.47), and Declan Shaw, 15th in the 300 (:43.34) and 18th in the 1,000 (3:33.28).

GIRLS
Joining Morse with a top-10 showing was Zoey Lang, who posted a time of 3:42.77 to take seventh in the 1,000, and the 4x200 relay, ninth in 2:19.29.

Next up for Candor is the Winter Classic at SUNY Cortland next Saturday at 7 p.m.
