HS INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: CANDOR’S AMAN WINS ANOTHER 55 SPRINT AT 607 INVITATIONAL (December 14, 2025)

CORTLAND — Rookie sprinter Logan Aman added his second sprint victory of the season Saturday, claiming the 55-meter dash at the 607 Invitational 9 a.m. meet at SUNY Cortland.
BOYS
Aman made his indoor debut with a win at the Ithaca College Bomber High School Invitational six days ago, then added to it with a time of 6.58 seconds. He also recorded a victory in the 300, registering a time of 38.46 seconds.
Charlie Hilbert placed third in the long jump with a distance of 18-3 ¾. He also took 16th in the 55 dash in 7.24 seconds.
In the 300, Declan Shaw finished 11th, clocking 42.53 seconds, and Flint Wilson took 24th in 44.83 seconds.
Wilson was also 17th in the 600 with a time of 1:46.54 and Cecil McFall came in 28th in 1:58.51.
In the 1,000, Jeremiah Gloss placed 20th with a time of 3:21.39.
The 4x400 relay finished fifth with a time of 4:18.04 and the 4x200 relay was sixth, clocking 1:47.01.
GIRLS
It was another good day for Lindsey Morse, who was the runner-up in the 55 hurdles with a time of 9.51 seconds and third in the long jump with a leap of 15-2 ¼.
Zoey Lang placed sixth in the 1,000, clocking 3:47.57.
Hayden Gehres came in 21st in the 600 with a time of 2:12.33 while Gwen Shaw was 31st in the 300 and 38th in the 55 with times of 56.27 and 9.76 seconds, respectively.
In the 300, Emma Stetler took 36th (1:00.16) and Sophia Delmage was 37th (1:01.44).
The 4x200 relay placed ninth with a time of 2:23.58.
Candor returns to SUNY Cortland Saturday for the Section IV Classic.
