COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY: NEWARK VALLEY GRAD DAY FINISHES OFF CAREER AT NATIONALS (November 18, 2025)

Phaedra Day finished off her career at the NCAA Division III field hockey championships.
Day,
a forward / middle back on the Marywood College team, started and
played the majority of the game, but the Pacers dropped a 7-0 decision
to nationally-ranked Wesleyan University in the opening round.
Marywood
qualified for Nationals by winning the Atlantic East Conference
Championship with a 4-1 win over Manhattanville University in the
semifinals, and a 3-0 win over Neumann University in the finals
Day started 18 of 19 games this season, and averaged 52.9 minutes per game.
Marywood College finished the season at 11-10.
As a junior, Day had five assists playing for Keystone College. She started all 17 games.
The
first two seasons of her career, Day played at American International
College in Springfield, Mass. She appeared off the bench in 31 games.
