Jack Buchsbaum, a freshman on the Alfred University football team, had the best game of his career, including his first collegiate TD, in the Saxons' season-ending 34-20 win over SUNY Morisville here Saturday at Yunevich Stadium.

Steven Bidwell, a junior, missed his second straight game with an injury.
Buchsbaum hauled in five receptions — all in the first half — for a career-high 101 yards.
Buchsbaum's first catch of the day was a 45-yard TD grab in the opening moments of the game. The 45-yard reception was a career-long.
For the season, Buchsbaum had 39 receptions for 487 yards and one TD. He also had two rushing attempts for minus-13 yards. He also had one tackle.
Bidwell finished the season with 212 rushing yards and four TDs on 60 carries. He also had three receptions for 2 yards.
Bidwell also had three tackles, including two solo stops, and a forced fumble,
Alfred University finishes the season at 4-6.
