STAC VOLLEYBALL: OWEGO SWEEPS MAINE-ENDWELL; ADVANCES TO STAC TITLE GAME (2025-10-24)
Tioga County Sports ReportOWEGO — Owego bounced back from a loss 24 hours earlier with a quick sweep of Maine-Endwell in the semifinals of the STAC volleyball championships.
The River Hawks, who dropped a five-setter to Windsor Thursday, won by scores of 25-15, 25-21, and 25-18.
Senior Maggie Hamed led Owego with 16 kills and 10 digs, while senior Bella Miller had 29 setter assists, eight digs, three service aces, and two kills, and junior Alyssa Harrington had five kills and five digs.
Senior Peyton Coolbaugh had 19 digs and four assists in the win, while freshman Braelea McLaren registered six kills and six digs, sophomore Ava ?McKeon recorded four kills and three blocks, and senior Evelyn Howe chipped in with two kills.
Owego will travel to Ithaca Monday for the STAC championship game. The start time is 6 p.m.
