IAC JV VOLLEYBALL: CANDOR SWEEPS S-VE TO WIN SMALL SCHOOL TITLE (22 PHOTOS) (2025-10-23)
Tioga County Sports ReportCANDOR — Candor bounced back from its only loss of the season to sweep S-VE here Wednesday night to win the IAC Small School championship game.
The junior Coyotes (14-1) won by scores of 25-21 and 25-18.
Ashlan Heidl led Candor with eight service points, including three aces, six kills, two setter assists, and two digs, while Kaedyn Everhart had eight points and three digs, and Ava Anderson had five points (three aces), three kills, and one block.
Anna Kelsey had four points, four kills, and eight digs in the win, while Tori Hall had two points and 12 assists, Ava Halstead added four points (two aces), and Lizzy Kunte recorded nine digs.
Caitlyn O'Connor-Lay led S-VE (11-4) with six points (two aces), two kills, and four digs, while Zoey Barton had five points and two digs, and Riley Koch had two points, two kills, six digs, and six assists.
Leah Neish had two points, three kills, and five digs for the Panthers, while Kylee Stahl added three points and two kills, Molly Rice chipped in with three points and two digs, and Lillie Horyczun recorded three digs.
