STAC BOYS GOLF: PRENTISS SHOOTS 85, SNYDER CARDS 96 AT STAC CHAMPIONSHIPS (2025-10-14)

ELMIRA — Senior Wyatt Prentiss shot an 85, and senior Duke Snyder carded a 96 at the STAC Boys Golf Championships here Tuesday at the Soaring Eagles Golf Course.

"It was cold, blustery conditions, so all of those young men who scored in the 70s deserve our admiration," said Owego coach Chris Evans.

Prentiss' round was good enough for 36th in the 90-player field.

"I’m proud of both young men for making it this far," said Evans. 

"Duke struggled a bit but still managed to smile and have a great time.

"Sawyer played very well and seemed to improve greatly as the season progressed," added Evans.
