Tioga County Sports ReportTIOGA CENTER — Tioga scored four second-half goals to pull away for a 5-0 win over Newark Valley here Wednesday afternoon in IAC girls soccer action.
Sophia Haney scored three goals and had one assist, and Grace Howey dished out three assists and scored one goal to pace the Tigers' offensive attack.
Tioga had a 21-5 advantage in shots-on-goal, and a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
Layla Brind had 12 saves in net for the Cardinals.
Newark Valley returns to action Friday when it hosts Newfield.
