SECTION IV FIELD HOCKEY: NEWARK VALLEY FALLS TO MORAVIA, 8-0 (2025-10-01)
Tioga County Sports ReportNEWARK VALLEY — Moravia blew open a one-goal game with four scores in the second quarter on its way to an 8-0 win over Moravia here Wednesday afternoon in Section IV field hockey action.
The Blue Devils had eight different players find the scoring column in the win, while Maeve Marcellus doled out a pair of assists.
Moravia had a 19-2 advantage in shots-on-goal, and a 4-1 edge in penalty corners.
Ashley Callahan registered 11 saves in the cage for the Cardinals.
Newark Valley returns to action Friday when it hosts Windsor.
