COLLEGE FOOTBALL: OWEGO GRADS BUCHSBAUM, BIDWELL PLAY IN ALFRED UNIVERSITY'S LOSS TO ITHACA COLLEGE (2025-09-15)

ALFRED N.Y. — Owego grads Jack Buchsbaum, a freshman, and Steven Bidwell, a junior, both played extensively in Alfred University's 45-14 loss to Ithaca College here Saturday.

Buchsbaum had six receptions for 56 yards, with the longest an 18-yard grab.

Alfred's run game was shut down by the Blue Bombers, gaining just 35 yards on 23 carries.

Bidwell gained five yards on four carries, and also had two receptions for 3 yards.

Buchsbaum now has nine receptions of 94 yards on the season, while Bidwell has 41 rushing yards on 14 carries, and three receptions for 2 yards.

Alfred, now 1-1, returns to action Saturday at St. Lawrence.
