WOMEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER: S-VE GRAD BRUEHWILER SCORES FIRST GOAL OF SEASON FOR ALFRED STATE (2025-09-15)

ALFRED, N.Y. — S-VE grad Ava Bruehwiler, a senior on the Alfred State women's soccer team, scored her first goal of the season Saturday in a 4-0 win over SUNY Canton.

Bruehwiler has played in all five of the Pioneers' games and is averaging 33.2 minutes of action per game.

She has two shots-on-goal this season — one in each of the last two games.

For her career, Bruehwiler has played in 33 games at Alfred, including nine games in which she started, and is averaging 41.5 minutes per game. She has four goals, including one game-winner, and one assist, and is 1-for-1 in penalty kick attempts.

Alfred, now 2-3, hosts Elmira College Wednesday.
