MEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER: OWEGO'S BRICH OFF TO HOT START IN COLLEGIATE CAREER AT HERKIMER COLLEGE (2025-09-09)

HERKIMER, N.Y. — Owego grad Vasil Brich, a freshman on the Herkimer College men's soccer team, is off to a hot start in leading the Generals to a pair of season-opening wins.

In the season opener Wednesday, Brich scored two goals in Herkimer's 4-2 win over Hudson Valley. He scored the Generals' first two goals to rally them to a 2-1 lead just 13 minutes into the game.

On Saturday, Brich scored two goals and dished out one assist in a 4-3 win over Jefferson Community College. Once again, Brich scored Herkimer's first two goals to rally them to a 2-1 lead early in the second half.

Herkimer returns to action Wednesday at North Country Community College.
