S-VE finished 2-4, while Newark Valley was 1-5 in Pool B play.
The Panthers split with Edison, dropping the first set 25-23 but winning the second 25-19, and with Newark Valley, dropping the first set 25-23 before wining the second set 25-12.
S-VE was swept by eventual pool champ Horseheads by scores of 25-23 and 25-19.
The Cardinals were swept by Horseheads by scores of 25-13 and 25-8, and by Edison by scores of 25-19 and 25-22.
S-VE topped Lyons in the Silver Bracket semifinals, but lost to Corning in the finals 25-22 and 25-18.
Newark Valley was knocked out in the quarterfinals of bracket play by the School of the Arts out of Rochester.
