COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: CANDOR GRAD SWARTZ FINISHES FIRST WEEKEND OF COLLEGIATE PLAY STRONG (2025-09-01)

Phoebe Swartz, a freshman on the Keuka College volleyball team, finished her first weekend of collegiate play strong.
Swartz did not play in the opening game of the Keuka College Invitational.
The Wolves lost in four sets to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, 3-1. Keuka won the first set 25-20, but MCLA rebounded to win the next three by scores of 28-26, 25-17, and 25-21.
In its second match, Keuka was swept by Hilbert College by scores of 25-12, 28-26, and 25-14. Swartz recorded eight setter assists, and one dig.
Keuka closed out the weekend with a 3-1 win over SUNY Canton. After dropping the first set 26-24, the Wolves won the next three by scores of 25-23, 25-17, and 25-19.
Swartz had 23 assists, 3.5 service points, including two aces, seven digs, one kill, and one block.
Keuka College returns to action this weekend at the North Country Invitational, hosted by St. Lawrence and SUNY Potsdam.
