OWEGO - Owego 12A All-Stars got back to their winning ways with a 10-run victory in five innings on Wednesday, taking care of Vestal 12A, 13-3 in Little League play.

Vestal got out to an early lead with a run in the first inning, but Owego 12A responded with four of their own in the home half of the second. 

Max Buchsbaum smacked a two-run homer to left field for Owego, while Dalton Marsh followed up with a two-run shot of his own a few batters later.

Vestal fought back in the third with another two runs, however, in the bottom half of the inning, Owego 12A exploded for seven runs to take a commanding lead. In the third, Owego's Nat Robinson, Austin Gregory and Marsh all had RBIs, while Remmy Morgan ripped a three-run homer.

Owego 12A plated a run in both the fourth and fifth to put the game away and take the win in five innings.

Morgan led the way for Owego, going 2-for-2 with a home run and four RBI. Buchsbaum went 1-for-2 with a homer and two runs scored, while Marsh racked up five total bases, finishing 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.

Also scoring runs on the day for Owego 12A All-Stars were Adam Harvey, Vinnie Yaichuk, Harrison Miller, Nat Robinson, Austin Gregory, and Chandler Serfass.

Owego 12A will take the field again on Friday at home against Binghamton All-Stars at 6 p.m. Check back for photos and game story.
