MAINE-ENDWELL - Owego Little League All-Star season is in full stride heading into the summer, with the 12A team recently finishing second at the Maine-Endwell tournament, while the 12C and 10B squads will both play in championship games on Friday night.

Owego 12C defeated ME Blackman on Thursday, 6-5. Trailing 1-0 after two innings, Owego scored four runs in the third, followed by two more in the fourth inning. 

Owego 12C would hold off a three-run surge by Maine-Endwell in the home half of the sixth to pull out the win. 

Five different all-stars for Owego tallied an RBI on the day, including Mays M, Zach W, Knox M, Grayson L, and Hunter M.

Owego 12C will now play ME 12C Comfort at 5:30, Friday evening at Tull Field in the championship game. 

The 10B squad for Owego won big over Vestal 9U on Wednesday, 20-10 in five innings.

Weston R had a big game, going 4-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored, while racking up two doubles in the game. 

Logan G was also big for Owego 10B, finishing 3-for-4, while Lucas M tallied three RBIs. Logan G and Lucas M both had a double each in the game as well. Isaiah L pitched 3.2 innings for Owego, striking out eight.

Owego 10B all-stars will now play in their respective division's championship on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. against Kirkwood. The game will be played on Zimmer Field.
